We bought a bunch of these for our condo building common spaces. They look and perform well. However, installing the light and accessing it are a real pain. Because these are fluorescent bulbs that should not be too often, but I don't look forward to it. Standing on a ladder and opening the wire frame without dropping the glass cover is a real trick.
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
